Recently Posy has been racing through my rather small selection of favorite books from my childhood. It's made me realise that I didn't have access to that many books as a child once I was past the Enid Blyton stage; by the time that I was able to get to the library by myself I was past the childrens' classics stage. As Posy is a voracious reader I've been on a bit of a buying spree and I'm looking forward to reading them myself. Heidi is up first, I remember watching a long running series on the television when I was young, but I didn't really understand it, so I'm looking forward to it at long last.
I'm knitting a Kina for Posy, it's going well, but I've been sidetracked by softie making. I finished this morning a Miss Fanny the Fabulous Fox for Precious who had been campaigning for a bigger fox, Mini Miss wasn't at all keen on letting hold him, so I've begun a bunny girl in a dotty dress by Little Cotton Rabbits I don't really need another project on my needles, but it was just too tempting.
